Today is a special day for Mancin Nadia Srl, a historic company in the fish sector that is celebrating the rebirth of its production hub in Rivà, along the Romea. After the fire on January 25, 2023, the plant was completely rebuilt: today it reopens, bigger, more modern and more efficient.
The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 11 am. The plant has already been operational for a few weeks, but the ceremony officially marks the restart after two years of work and approximately 18 million euros of investments.
Founded 42 years ago by Martino De Agostini and his wife Nadia Mancin, today the company is led by the second generation: Marco, Michele and Fabio.
«Two years ago – the company explains – a fire destroyed everything. We didn't stop: we reacted. Today we have a completely new plant, a line of ready meals designed by chef Fabio Tacchella, and the same energy as always. Over the past two years, we have worked in tight spaces, at the limit, but we have never given up. This new plant represents a big step forward: it is larger, more functional and designed to work better, all together".
The group today has around 100 employees and is a leader, with its brands, in ready-to-eat fish gastronomy. One of the most solid and important entrepreneurial realities not only in the Delta, but in the entire Polesine. Before the fire, the annual turnover stood at 27.5 million euros.
