ARIANO NEL POLESINE – The Mancin Nadia Srl plant, a company specializing in fish processing and purification, which caught fire between the night of January 24 and 25, 2023 in the town of Rivà, is reopening.

The plant, which covers an area of 6,000 square meters, will reopen tomorrow with an inauguration ceremony at 11 am, after more than 24 months of forced shutdown.

Despite the serious damage, no employees have been fired: the organic plant has remained unchanged. Before the fire, the company had a turnover of almost 30 million euros per year, with production mainly destined for large-scale distribution.

The flames had also engulfed a tank containing dozens of hectoliters of oil for packaging fish, involving the entire photovoltaic system. The fire was classified as an accident, with no elements that suggest a malicious origin, and no investigations with suspects appear to have been opened.

It took firefighters many hours to put out the flames.
